e.law Asia Pacific launches new online dataroom
01 June, 2010
Credited with launching Australia's first virtual dataroom service, e.law Asia Pacific, a digital evidence, document security and software solutions provider, today sets a new standard with the launch of their new Secure Dataroom software product; an easy, yet secure way to collaborate online.
The Secure Dataroom revolutionises the way online data rooms for M&A transactions are run, it is the only solution that lets you manage the entire deal transaction from information memorandum and bidder due diligence, to contract negotiation and sale and purchase agreement. Easy to use workflow tools such as; Q&A, discussions and versioning, accelerate preparation, due diligence, negotiation and closing; leading to fast, efficient deal making.
Hosted locally in Australia, this web based software (SaaS) provides a secure, collaborative platform and maintains an audit trail of all document access and changes to meet corporate and regulatory compliance objectives. Access rights are applied to documents saved in the Dataroom and protect the documents even after they have been downloaded to the users' local computers. Users are not required to install any plug-ins; all that is required is an internet connection and a browser.
Offered exclusively by e.law in Australia and New Zealand, e.law Secure Dataroom, powered by Brainloop, is the only online data room software to offer full document rights management (RMS) with both Adobe LiveCycle and Microsoft RMS. This allows customers to set secure document access policies and privileges to more types of documents within a document collaboration environment.
The software, powered by Brainloop is already a standard in Europe and well established in North America. Hundreds of companies world-wide such as ThyssenKrupp, Sky, Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fujitsu and BMW Group trust the Brainloop software with their confidential information.
"Our decision to partner with Brainloop aligns with our strategy to cover the much wider area of document compliance. It enables us to offer so much more than traditional due diligence virtual data rooms" says Mark Petty, head of software products at e.law. "Our customers can now take advantage of the built in document collaboration tools, while increasing security."
In November 2009 e.law acquired CCH Workflow Solutions, substantially increasing their breadth of services. The release of e.law Secure Dataroom now positions e.law to become leaders in online data security in the Asia Pacific region. The unique feature set widens their offering to include fraud and IP protection, boardroom communications and project collaboration.
