About us

History

In March 1999, e.law Asia Pacific (previously known as e.law Australia) was launched by Allison Stanfield and Bruce Grant, as an independent legal/IT Consulting organisation.

Following the successful implementation of numerous legal IT projects and the project management of many high profile cases, Royal Commissions, including the Oil for Food Inquiry and the HIH Royal Commission, e.law has established its credentials as a blue ribbon service provider to the legal industry across Australia.

e.law is continuously developing IT systems and further enhancing the services provided in order to remain the leaders in digital evidence.

In November 2009 e.law acquired the business assets of CCH Workflow Solutions from Wolters Kluwer and rebranded to e.law Asia Pacific. The merged businesses complement each other providing mutual benefits to e.law's business. Further, clients have benefited from the integrated business given that all areas of evidence collection and presentation are now covered by the one solutions provider.

The acquisition has extended e.law’s office locations to include Brisbane and Hong Kong, and in early 2010 e.law opened a new office in Shanghai, allowing e.law to meet a broader set of client needs and further establish their position within the market.
