What is e.trial
e.trial is a hearing room presentation tool developed by e.law to act as an electronic library which allows parties and the court to access all materials relevant to the matter via a simple, intuitive web interface. The functionality of e.trial was designed drawing on the wealth of experience e.law has in delivering services in electronically conducted hearings.
Material discovered during the litigation process is uploaded to e.trial and documents are then displayed in the hearing room as required. Exhibit and MFI information is uploaded in real time, and customized lists and folders can be created, all with interactive hyperlinks, to suit the needs of the parties and the court
e.trial benefits the hearing process by providing:
- Quick retrieval of documents in the hearing room
- Cross referencing of documents electronically
- Exhibit documents in real time
- Hyperlinking of documents within transcript
- Secure access by judge, court staff and parties
- Remote access, afterhours access
